May 17,2013 7 p.m worst service and worst food ever!! Won't be going back. After waiting over 10 minutes and being ignored, finally hailed down a passing server to request a menu. Nachos came out so burnt had to send them back. Dried garlic ribs were swimming in oil and not tossed in rock salt as menu states. Mentioned lack of rock salt to server and she brought us a dish of salt. Terrible experience, wouldn't recommend the place to my worst enemy. Shame, cuz it's a nice setting.
This place is on again, off again... never know what to expect. The Manager is very snobbish and I'm afraid I would have to rate this place "Fair to Poor". Too bad, as it used to be a super pub under the previous ownership.
I used to love this pub...went there all the time when I lived in the Okanagan. I took my softball team there the Sunday of the 2008 Funtastic Softball Tournament. We got there just after they opened...one of my friends was there when they opened the door. There was about 10 of us.....and it took about 15 minutes to get our drinks...we ordered our food....and was still waiting for it an hour and a half later. When we finally got the waitresses attention....she said it would be another 15 minutes. We cancelled our food order and paid for our drinks. I have NEVER had to wait that long for food in a pub. I can honestly say I will never go there again.
The service at this pub is definitely mediocre. When my husband and I went to order our food we were warned by the waitress we would have a 2 hrs. wait for it. It's as if they hold your food order so the patrons keep ordering drinks while they wait for their food. Not great customer service at all. Feel sorry for the Waitress', I'm sure they recieve a lot of flack from the customers due to the slow kitchen. Food could also be better. A huge improvement is definitely in order. Perhaps better Management is the answer!!!
We have lived in the Vernon area for many years and always looked forward to excellend meals at the Pub but recently we were very dissapointed with the food. The size of the portions were cut in half and the food was cold. The people next to us ordered dinner which they received in a timely manner but their daughter, who had ordered only pasta with a little butter didn't even receive her meal until the parents were finished theirs. The prior week some patrons warned us that they had waited 2 hours for their dinner and it still hadn't come.

»I loved my meal, baked tortellini, services was good and a real wood fire, very cool. Can't beat the view.
